Feedback from the delegates attending the conference at Newark on Saturday September 10th was very positive. The general view seemed to be that although the speakers might not have come from the same professions, all were looking at the same problems from a different perspective and adding to the overall understanding. Speakers included Clinical Psychologist Sue Goulding, Paediatric dentist Dr Malcolm Levinkind, Waldon Method practitioner Carol Mannion, SENCO South Bromsgrove High School Irene Cunliffe and, Homeopath Fiona Theokritoff who talked through a case study where she had worked alongside traditional medicine, Primary Movement(from Ireland) and Listening Training. All provided parts of the answer and by working together the child was able to benefit.
The child and their benefit was central for all parties.
Some would have liked more opportunity to network as well and we could look at providing that opportunity at future meetings throughout the year.
